Blackberry - mainly along western boundary and in ornamental garden around the house. Dug some out, brushcut and mulched over.
Thistle - mainly in bottom paddock and popping up in small numbers in top paddocks. Slashed and brushcut. Will uproot it in top paddocks.
Stickyweed - ornamental gardens full of it. Pulled most of it out.
Nightshade - pops up where the soil is bare along with some other weed that I don’t know.
Cherryslug - stripped small cherry trees. Tried beat-a-bug. Worked well.
European wasps - seems to be a lot of these about. They get into any fallen/damaged fruit. Have been picking up fallen fruit regularly and putting it in the compost.
